Our History

A New Era of the Connected Farm

VEGGA was founded in 2021 through a strategic partnership between two leading companies in the modernization of the agricultural sector: MatHolding and Sistemes Electrònics Progrés. Both companies, with a long history of developing technological solutions for agriculture, have joined forces with a common goal: to drive the digitalization of the agricultural sector through a comprehensive agronomic management platform.

This partnership is built on more than 30 years of shared expertise in the sector and our commitment to addressing the new challenges of modern agriculture: the need for more efficient water management, fertilization, and plant health, as well as the growing demand for sustainability and resource optimization.

From our headquarters in Palau d’Anglesola, Lleida, VEGGA continues to grow with an expanding unit and a clear international focus. Currently, the platform operates in more than 25 markets, with a presence in Spain, Portugal, and other countries such as Chile, Morocco, and Italy.
