VEGGA, the next evolution of AgronicWeb
To understand the origins of VEGGA, you first need to understand what AgronicWeb is.
AgronicWeb is a platform/application that provides online access to the units and sensors used in irrigation and fertigation systems, as well as those used to monitor the entire farm.
When AgronicWeb was created, it marked the transition to Agriculture 4.0, enabling the professionalization of management operations thanks to the ease with which it allows users to analyze the data records and histories it generates and processes. In addition, it provided the ability to remotely control irrigation and fertigation systems, offering real-time access to system performance and sensor readings.
This digitization of information and remote access not only optimizes the time spent by field professionals by reducing trips to the farms, but also streamlines and enhances the control of systems and units.
And now, VEGGA is here.
VEGGA aims to go one step further by becoming the leading integrated platform in the sector. It allows users to control irrigation data and brings together the most important precision agriculture technologies on a single platform.
It also allows for the centralized management of an entire farm, consolidating all agronomic data into a single farm management system that provides the farm manager with a comprehensive overview.
VEGGA is a project launched by Sistemes Electrònics Progrés (developers of AgronicWeb) and the Mat Holding group, with extensive experience spanning more than 80 years working alongside farmers (including IQV and Regaber, leaders in plant health and drip irrigation, respectively) who have joined forces to create this new platform, sharing leadership, innovation, and the values of family-owned businesses, which will enable them to face this period of change in the sector with strength and lead the way.
There is a growing need to meet the high demand for food production driven by the world’s growing population. This need must be met in a way that is sustainable and respectful of the planet. These challenges must be addressed through the modernization of agriculture, innovation, and technology.
